Lovely place to stay, I went in the off season with the dogs just to chill out away from real life for a bit and it was great. The rooms where clean and warm which is what you want for the cold seasons

We were a party of 4 adults and 4 kids, everyone had a wonderful time. The caravans were perfect, food, arcades and pool all great. Easy walk to the town and beach. I would however completely agree with the review regarding the entertainment. Far too late starting when you've got young kids. Could the bingo go on after the kids entertainment? That's the only reason for a 4 star rather than 5 star review.

I was attending an event, Great place to stay, but out of season no shop and limited food places to eat open. The nearest shop is co op 10 mins walk, there is a restaurant on site, very good breakfast, reasonably priced.

Upon arriving the check in was nice and easy with a nice friendly welcome .Got sent to the wrong part but it was only a road away from the villa where we were staying. The villa had a massive carpark with 2 disabled spaces a nice flat get in no steps for the wheelchair. The villa is massive 4 big double rooms one disabled toilet with NO hot water .the kitchen was just right . The wet room again had NO hot water plus the shower wasn't very good . Both ensuite rooms were a good size . My daughter had the room at the far end the ( largest ensuite ) she had a bath on the 2nd night and it took all night to drain. There were cracked panels of glass in 3 of the windows and rubbish on top of the wardrobe in the largest bedroom next to the dining room . All in all it was a nice break and we did enjoy ourselves. There was an electrical cupboard in the disabled toilet held shut with tape . Not very safe for children.

We just came back from a week away there and we stayed in the ground floor Bermuda apartment location is great loads of room for the kid to run about and entertainment top quality BUT the apartments need some major redecorating to them as bathroom door didn't lock outside looked shabby and smelt damp and just a general update

Had a lovely holiday, but was slightly disappointed with the entertainment, we would have loved to have stayed for any of the shows, but as the bingo went on so long every single night by the time the children's entertainment was ready to start, my toddler was ready for bed. Feel as thought it would make more sense to have the children's disco 6-7 and then bingo after. 715-815 for a children's disco just feels really later especially for the younger kids.

We stayed in their largest accommodation called The Villa. It was a converted 1930's bungalow that was huge with 4 double rooms two with enquires one with a bath. Tv in all rooms. It was very clean and very modern. It also boasts a massive wet room to cater for disabled etc. A bit pricey for most but you do get a lot for your money in regards to space.(There's a video on the website) The staff were Friendly and helpful. They are very meticulous to keep the park safe as my daughter was asked a couple of times by staff on park "are you meant to be on this park, where are you staying, etc. There is plenty to do in hemsby and on park. It still has that old school feel to it even though all modern and up to date. Definitely worth another trip.

Unfortunately the caravan wasn't as clean as we had hoped for, lots of stains on the fabric and a strange smell on entering. Frustrating as it meant we had to clean lots of areas ourself for it to be ok to use. Would recommend the pizza in the on site restaurant. 2p machines on the main site were all empty of prizes, which was a shame as the other Richardsons arcade site further down the road was brilliant. Evening entertainment was good for the children. Location is good there are things for the children within walking distance, Unfortunately the site pool was really overcrowded so we only used that once.

Although the site staff were polite, I struggle to give this a star review. We stayed a week in a chalet, upon entering there was peeling paint, stains on the floor (some of which we cleaned ourselves) dirty shower floor and mold and ants, unclean cutlery, all the rooms such as toilet door etc had locks but no keys, the windows that opened wouldn't stay shut and of the roughly 9 windows only 3 were double glazed rendering them pointless and in general there was very poor insulation. The most uncomfortable "sofa" I have experienced, felt somewhat like a park bench with fabric on. The bed was equally as uncomfortable and we have spent many hours since recovering from the lack of sleep and pain caused by both. Can opener didn't work and resorted to a pen knife. No potato masher or peeler which i would feel are basic and no saucepans or pan either. The neighbours were clearly smoking cannabis but didn't want to complain as that would have revealed it to be us that complained. Although polite there were cleaners waiting at 8:50am despite departure being at 10am. My partner is disabled and sleep and comfort are very important and despite her needs i am able bodied and struggled equally so I can't blame it on her problems, at over £600 this felt felt like a massive overpayment. I'm not expecting a speedy response to my email so if anyone sees this please be aware we expect some form of refund or compensation as this will be taken further. We didn't expect much but we were still left surprised at the state of things.

We stayed on this site for a 4 day holiday in October. There wasn't many others staying on site, so understandably alot of the things in the area were closed. The clubhouse was pretty dead in the evenings due to this, but credit to the site for still running the kids entertainment, and adult entertainment to just a few. The swimming pool was still open and we were the only ones in there for some time, but lifeguard station still manned so well done to the site there too. Its a short walk to the beach from the site. But things to see and do along the way. We stayed in a lodge with hot tub, booked via hoseasons. The lodge itself was lovely everything very clean and new looking kitchen and bathrooms. WiFi worked very well. We could have done with some extra bin bags as there was only one. The only down point about the lodge I would say were the beds. The mattresses were really thin and I had a couple of restless nights. My daughter slept like a log in the travel cot though! I have given it 4 stars because although it was nice, I wouldnt class it as luxury.

Richardsons has become far to expensive, its cheaper to holiday abroad. Can only afford to visit early or late in the season.

I'm sorry to say but I dropped my sister and nephew off for their holiday. The chalet was disgusting. Fithy dirty blinds that were all bent and damaged. The settee was very badly stained. Food in the fridge was frozen. The view from her window was an over grown empty car park. She was told her chalet had a view, if you call weeds growing everywhere a view. As my sister has learning problems her son also has learning problems, they didn't like to complain. They did want to go back next year they paid £25 deposit for a bungalow but then realised they couldn't afford it. She went into the reception next day but was unable to get a refund. I don't think I will let her return there. Its such a shame they both saved hard for this holiday.
